We provide dead and cut bait.
If you would like live bait, you can let me know the night before or wait and discuss that at the dock with your captain. Live bait costs change per boat depending on how much the customer would like to buy.
If your let me know at least the day before the trip so I can notify the captains.
However, we have started taking the customer to the bait shack to purchase it yourself.
If you would like to bring your own, that is fine also there are live wells on the boats.

FISHING LICENSES! AllWater or SALTWATER!
EVERYONE 17 and older who gets on the boat will need a license.
You must have A HARD COPY LICENSE.
Super Combos are the only digital license accepted by the Game Wardens. All other types of fishing license must be hard copy.
If you do not have the official red drum tag from the official Texas fishing license, you cannot keep that fish and if you do, Game wardens will give you a $500 ticket (even if you have a digital fishing license).
This is not a debate or arguable as it was verified directly with Texas parks and wildlife.
Games Wardens are giving tickets if you keep a redfish over 27’ that does not have an official tag with it. We know from actual experience.
Even if you are not going to keep fish, and you catch and release, you will need a fishing license.
Children 16 and younger do not need a license, but each one needs their own Red Drum tag if you want to keep a bull red that your child may catch.
This tag is called “Exempt Anglers Tag”
FISHING licenses (should come with one red drum trophy tag) and a second bonus Red drum tag may be purchased from Walmart and Academy Sports and Outdoors (or any other vendor that sells fishing licenses). Academy on the island is the best and most efficient store.
You will need ID to purchase a fishing license. If you prefer, you may buy the 24 hour, 3 day or yearly license, but make sure your license includes the Red Drum Trophy tag. If a redfish over 27 inches is caught, the fish must be tagged. And to repeat from above, Although kids 16 and younger do not need a license, they will need a red drum tag to keep the these big fish.
